'77 R75/7: Original Color Specs was created by Wilburg

I am just entering into the airhead world and working on bringing a 1977 r75/7 back to life. I believe the original color is Havana Gold as the tank color looks almost brown, It has been pretty stripped down and needs a paint job. Would y'all recommend repainting it this color to retain its original color and possibly value, as I hear it is rare, or repaint it black and not worry too much about the resale as I am partial to the classic more common black look.

Thanks for any help

AS far as I can tell, the /7s haven't reached collector status, and even then, only bone stock, unmolested examples would be of interest. It's your bike, paint it whatever color pleases you.
