I have a 1977 R100RS that, for some reason, spun both rod bearings—ruined the crank. The top end is off so this will be a hands on seminar for you to learn how to dissassemble the complete drive train – rear wheel, final drive and swing arm, suspension, transmission, and short block..all out.

New short block in with the ignition/charging systems installed and upgraded, starter in, new rods/bearings, top end, then tranny with lubed splines, swing arm, suspension, rear wheel with lubed drive spines, check rear brake shoes and wheel installed.

You will be using the correct tools and new parts, and you will see and do step by step with guidance.

The plan is to start at 9 a.m. and go as far as possible. We may not finish everything since there will also be Q&A at each step of the process.

Bring a chair to be comfortable. The bike will be up on a lift so everyone can see.
