22nd annual Doug Barbour Fireflight Rendezvous
We would like welcome our fellow Airheads to our special gathering the weekend after Labor Day. We have reserved campsites at Maupin City Park on the banks of the Deschutes River. The Rendezvous starts on Friday the 6th but there are always early birds who prefer to arrive on Thurs and the sites will be ready then.
Maupin is a small community on the “dry side” of the Cascades. There are a couple good restaurants and a well stocked market in walking distance of the campground. The area features great roads, both paved and GS. Enthusiasts a check out fly fishing or white water rafting. And of course we’ll have plenty of cold beverages and wide ranging conversation.
Camping will be $10 per person per night and please, we will need cash. Please get in touch with Oregon Air Marshall Garry Newby or Katrina Nielsen to let us know if you plan to attend.
