@8166Hey Scot thank you for the reply. Would any of the places you added do the broken case work or are they mostly internal repair shops. Several I recognized.....thanks again

Broken Case Work...
I can't open your photo, so I can't see where the case is broken. However, in 95% of the situations you're better off to buy new cases rather than weld... and for nearly the same cost you could buy a complete gearbox vs an empty set of cases.
BMW made several boat loads of these bikes and parts are plentiful.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
