Hello everyone.  My first post to the forum.  I bought my first airhead a few years ago, and I've been slowing building it into the airhead cruiser I want.  

I have a 70 /5, and I've recently found a Teutonic 1000 miler, but the mount is for a /6.  The seat is in mint condition, and for the price I wasn't going to let it pass me buy.  The seat mount plugs into the /6 and /5 frame the same way.  However the rear of the mount is different as of course the /6 is longer.

Now I either fashion an adapter for my /6 seat to secure to my /5, or I cut and modify the seat mount. 

I'm open to suggestions.  Would ultimately like to see photos of the Teutonic install on a /5.
