Own a 1984 R100RT Last Edition. I have a Haynes BMW 2-valve twins 70-96 service & repair manual provided by previous owner. It has a ton of info that I do not need. Any thoughts on good manuals that are maybe more thorough and specific to my particular machine?

I was a Honda factory trained mechanic in the eighties so I am very familiar with electrical, carburetion, engine, chassis, routine maintenance, and suspension work in general.

All the newer manuals seem to cover multiple models, and so there's generally going to be more info than you need in most of them. I have a Haynes and Chilton, and use them both.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
