Hey headz,
I just purchased a 1977 r100/7 for dirt cheap. However, half the fins on the right side cylinder head are broken off completely and I would like to replace the head. I was wondering whether heads from other models would work. Based off of Duane Ausherman's technical specification article technical specification article, for a r100/7 the valve inlet size is 42 mm and outlet is 40 mm. Can I replace my head with any other head that has the same inlet and outlet size or can I only replace with an r100/7 head. I found this head on ebay Ebay which is off of an r80- is this possible to replace with?
