Hi: Just got my engine/trans/final drive/wheels rebuilt and trying to figure out the steering damper. The illustrated parts breakdowns I see does not show everything, imagine that. Anyone out there have a R69S?; some picture sure would help as I am scratching my head. I want to put it back on rather than do the friction plate install, as I have all the parts and a new damper cylinder.

Posted in May and no response, huh. My R75/6 needs a dampner, but the parts photo and list is ominous...
Here are some photos I took when I assembled mine. It came to me in a box, and it took a long time to figure out how the pieces fit together. And it's been long enough now I don't remember exactly how they went together. If additional photos would help, please let me know what shots you need and I'll post them here.
