Is there a good description anywhere of the procedure to align the cam/chain/throttle cables on a /2?  There's no detail in the Barrington manual, no mention in the Clymer manuals, SnowBum has some words but no pictures, and Duane Ausherman's website has a good description but the photos are no longer viewable.

Thanks,

John

You simply need to "play with" the twist grip, chain positions and carb-top cable adjusters until there is 1-2mm of free play in the cable.

For a new cable, completely back off the carb-top adjusters. Roll the twist grip forward until it hits the TG stop. Install the new cable top and bottom. (Recognize that the adjuster can't take out more than about 6mm slack.) Engage the gear teeth of the chain piece so that there is only 1-6mm of cable slack. Install the TG gear case top and screw. Adjust out the balance of the slack at the carb top adjuster.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
