End cap torque value

I’ve looked but can’t find this anywhere. Could be my ineptitude, but does anyone know the torque value on wheel hub end caps?

If you are talking about the 5-bolt wheel bearing covers, then something like 6Nm or 4.5ft-lbs. That's roughly what a normal person can apply with a 1/4 inch drive screwdriver handle.

I was referencing the chrome screw-on type that’s on a /6, but I think your answer applies- hand tight. Thanks!

Those numbers were achieved using the engine oil pan retaining screw torque, but reduced ever so slightly because those 5 screws have less thread engagement than the sump screws.
Now you you know how to estimate other unstated torques.
