78 R80/7. I want to eliminate the dual clam air horns and just go with a single Seger that I purchased. Just trying to streamline a little bit.
SEGER Disc Horn (50F Series) - 12V, 105-118dB(A), 335 Hz± 20 (Low Tone)
Can I just connect just one side of the stock connections and eliminate/tape off the other sides wiring? Or is this more complicated with relays, etc.

Thanks guys/gals!

You should be able to simply fit the single horn in place of one existing.

Don't tape off the unused wire. It will become exposed at some point in the future when you least need that form of "help". Simply follow the unused wire all the way back to the horn relay and unplug the wire at the relay.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Wobbly, I was hoping that was the answer. And I will follow your instruction with the spare wires.

Your horn swap made me think back to the 1970's for some reason. I had a riding pal back then that described his main goals in life as "Root, Toot, Poot, and Scoot" !!

Good luck with your new tooter !
