My apologies, I can't seem to post this in "parts". I plan to go through the carbs on my 1983 R100RS. Has anyone used the kit from EME Enduralast? It's about half the price as the kit from the dealer.
I used their kit for my ‘78 40mm carbs. Everything seems fine except, for me, the bowl gaskets. After being in place for a while, they seemed to compress too much, leaving the bowl too easy to unclip / clip. I replaced with better bowl gaskets. May have just been me or my carbs.
I have used the EME kit 2 years ago and found that the diaphragm material is quite a bit thicker than stock. There was a noticeable difference in throttle response with the thicker version. Maybe it was a bad batch and they have changed suppliers since, but they were very friendly about it and refunded my purchase price. Good guys. I source all my diaphragms from the dealer now.
