92 R100GSPD Ok Battery issue solved starter making all kinds of noises, screeching, etc. Do I really need to spend 350 for a ND or will the Valeo or endurolast from Euro Electric work? I assume the enduralast is a chinese knockoff??

Put in endurolast ...No more squeal... When time will probably rebuild ooriginal..

Check out the Nippon Denso. I replaced my Bosch with an ND for my R90/6, and that ND is a monster. Sometimes I swear the starter cranks up just as I hover my thumb over the starter button. It's pricier than the others though. I'll repair the Bosch once I learn how to in case of an emergency, but I LOVE the ND.
