bar end turn signals

r75/5. i have disabled stock turn signals and installed bar end signals. the bulbs are 18w each. seems they flash at longer intervals than before. does this make sense? is there a way to speed up the interval?

Has anyone tried replacing the conventional flasher with an electronic one?

LED turn signals are on my list of things to do.

the bulbs for the hella bar end turn signals are incandescent festoon base. not sure if they would work with a relay designed for led.

I have bar ends on my R65. I installed LED replacement units in place of the incandescents and used an electronic flasher to get the flash rate right. That flasher should work with either type bulb, it just doesn't use load to determine the flash rate.
