i have opened the top-end of my '74 r90s, needing new pistons, valves, et al... my left piston's connecting-rod is relatively "tight", but my right side's connecting rod has about 1/16" - 3/32" movement forward and aft (front/back) at the point where the piston retaining pin goes. is this acceptable, or reason for concern? there is a "microscopically" discernable amount of in/out "play" (a tiny, tiny, micro amount...), again this is not detected on the left side; i tend to be hyper-sensitive, and want to be cautious and sensible, but i do not want to mess with replacing stuff that doesn't genuinely necessitate it... knowledgeable feedback would be very much appreciated.
