Hello,
I noticed the rear brake pedal has a lot of wobble in it. Is there a way to shim this to take out the play between the frame tube and the pivot bolt?

Yes, you can wrap the spindle in an appropriate thickness "shim stock" and reassemble it.
If the idea of future wear concerns you, then you can drill the spindle for grease application while you have it apart.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
