1981 R100RT Center fairing cowling

I’m trying to figure out how to change the solid Center cowling with the louvred one I have purchased and painted.
Has anyone done this? My Clymers schematic does not seem to be much help.

Grab your #2 Phillips screwdriver and remove the 9 screws. Pull the cover forward and down. Nothing else holds it. They usually fall out as the screws are removed.
There are 3 screws along each side (6 total). Then there is one on each side (2 total) going up into the main fairing near the brake hose entrance. Then there is a single screw top center.
All 9 screws should have a conical metal washer on the screw side, and a sheet metal U-nut on the fairing side. It's a 3 minute job.
Hope this helps.
