Hello from central Indiana
I had been aware of the ABC from my time in California in the early 1990's, when I was operating a monolever R100RS as my highway transportation. That example was kept in 100% condition with me performing only basic owner maintenance (procedures requiring no more than two beers), so I never learned the finer points of living with a more classic model... I had always wanted a /5 or /6, and have recently obtained my #1 lifetime favorite, most of a running '76 R90S. I specifically went for a neglected and incomplete specimen in order to re-enter classic motorcycling the honest way, and hope to spend the next few years going through it-- I wish to restore it mechanically but not cosmetically and can certainly use plenty of experienced advice. I no longer have any hobbyist contacts in the area-- Thanks to the more patient Airheads on this forum in advance...
If you hit a snag, be sure to contact your Indiana Airmarshal, Don Beverage. He is a very sharp tool.
