Old rider, but new to Airhead community. Just purchased '71 75/5 (42k mi) in riding condition. I am starting to clean, change fluids, restore all functions, but keep as original unrestored at least for now. I'm interested in seeing some calendar events on east coast to interact and learn. There must be airheads in the mid-Atlantic states, but no events show up on the calendar. I'll be interested to interact and learn. Any mid-Atlantic members planning events? Plz advise, thx in adv. Welcome aboard !! Earlier in the year they had a big national rally at Fontanna Dam and then the airheads Meeting of the Clans. So at least in the southeast those seem to be earlier on the calendar.
Also, you'll need to place your general locale in your profile. "Mid-Atlantic" covers a lot of territory.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
I am looking to for events I live in Connecticut .....Hermit Island campout is a great time in maine....look it up thanks Tom Brundage wolcott ct I have camping av and shop for work food too
