It's time once again for the Meltdown Vintage M/C Show in downtown Hendersonville, NC, on Saturday April 28, 2018.

This is a not so much a motorcycle "show" as it is a loosely organized "barley therapy", where you can walk up and down several streets looking at bikes that got ridden to the event. It is held in the streets right in front of Appalachian Brewery, so there is plenty of beer and good food. The event itself is not highly organized other than that the streets are closed to automobile traffic. The brewery also provides live music. It all adds up to a day of fun, walking around, drinking, looking at bikes and people, and generally having a good time. Admission is FREE. You can also buy a raffle ticket for the 1979 Triumph Bonneville.

This is not strictly a BMW event. There will be a wide variety of English, Italian, German, and Japanese bikes. I really like this event becasue of what it is NOT... it is not a Harley event.
