I have a 74 R90/6. And recently acquired 65 R69s.
I know there are many on the market. Wonder what the ABC guys are using.

I know of a way to get some 100LL so I use a little of that in my tank. Without it though, by bike still runs fine on 91/93, especially the pure gas 91.

I've never tried an off the shelf additive for lead.

► Your bike will run fine on "high test" unleaded ethanol fuel. High octane unleaded ethanol-free fuel is even better. (A lot more of this is showing up, lately.)

► If its ""valve recession" you're worried about...
1) I already have liver issues, so I try not to use add-on chemicals. Typically, none or very little medical data exists for the effects of these aftermarket chemicals. And lead can be absorbed through the skin, which doesn't improve my opinion.
2) Valve recession is a very slow process, and regular valve adjustments completely cover the effects of the process for the vast majority of Airhead owners.
3) Consider that while you may ride 100,000 miles per year, that number is now divided by the number of motorcycles you own.
4) Finally, understand that IF you ever do get your valve seats to the condition that "something must be done", then there are multiple shops which do really fine seat replacements. And they are available.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much. I feel better now. I do have access to non ethanol and that's my main go to anyway.

BTW. Ride em, don't hide them is MY theory as well. My 08 RT is used only for long distance rides. (At 77 yrs young I deserve creature comforts when doing 5-600 miles a day)

One important note I forgot to add....

If you have access to "aviation fuel", that is very high octane and still contains lead for the valve seats. That may be the very best fuel you can buy these days for an Airhead.
