I've searched and found nothing on the topic, but I know this is a common failure point. I simply don't know what the best fix is. Do newer versions of the stock switch conclusively cure the leak, or is there a preferred brand/make of switch ??

Help !!

Thanks. Mine seems to be dripping oil out where the spade connector exits the plastic body. Some stories online talk about the plastic end blowing off once that starts. I've not been around airheads long enough to distinguish fact from fiction.

My local auto parts store was able to supply an equivalent replacement switch. So we'll see.

Clean the switch before applying sealant then paint a new switch where the plastic meets the metal with SUZUKI 1207B SEALANT

This is wonderful! A 200 mile test ride proved the switch was the source of 98% of all my oil issues. The entire motor exterior stayed oil-free and what a difference. Oil had even been puddling under the flywheel, which I naturally assumed was the main and oil pump seals. Apparently, it was only wind-blown oil from the pressure switch collecting in the depression.

I'm pumped. (No pun intended.)
