Cluster Gauge and Blasphemy
I was riding along recently when I looked down and saw the needle on the tach spinning like a tiny propeller. The speedometer needle, at best, provided an approximation of my speed on a good day so it's time to have the cluster rebuilt.
I'm researching how to accomplish this (probably Terry Verla) but also looking at digital cluster gauges that fit the hole in the headlight shell. If the gauge could be made to work well and look good I'd seriously consider it. I'm not sentimental about gauges when the new technologies are so much better, IMHO.
Can anybody name any gauges? The Acewell brand came up, so far.
Acewell, Koso, and Trail Tech are the familiar ones.
