Morning All

Just starting to do my research. Replacing the rear shock on a 1991 GS

Wondering who's done the same? What they found they like best (outside of stock replacement) without busting the bank? (Might not be possible:) 🙂

I'll also be replacing the fork fluids and looking for a good set of springs as well. In case anyone has some preferences around those to?

Thanks much!!

I'm not riding a GS, but I've been very pleased with the service and products from Hagon. They have a very long track record, and they actually take into consideration the rider's weight when building your shock unit(s). For this last reason, you want to deal directly with Hagon USA and get the free factory tuning. It's going to be the same price either way.

There are probably better shocks out there, but IMHO Hagon is the lowest price shock worth even considering.

True Story: A pal rode his BSA from Atlanta to CA for an international rally. While riding there he decided the ride wasn't correct (he had misjudged his cargo weight). Hagon 'over-nighted' a new set of springs to him at the rally at ZERO cost.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

Hey Wobbly!

Thanks much for info. Check out the site, and also heard from some other folks that they're a solid company. Good products, prices, etc.

And it's a plus to hear a story like that. Amazing. Service/craftsmanship are everything, at least to me. Thanks again!
