Fellow Airheads I might have gotten so old I can't remember so asking for help. Re:1980 R100RT you know you have a speedo on left, a tack on right and one row of vertical lights down the middle, you know, engine on, neutral etc.. Yesterday I rode the bike and the BOTTOM RED LIGHT STAYED ON THE WHOLE TIME. I know I am old but I just dont remember that bright red light glowing at me all the time. I dont have an owners manual. I tried Google and they just want to talk about LED lights so I am turning to my fellow Airheads for help. Thank you. Should bottom light stay on?

No

It's either the brake or oil pressure

Oil pressure is Yellow for some strange reason. The upper Red is low front brake fluid reservoir level, and the lower Red is failed alternator output.

None of the warning lamps should stay continuously lit.

Hope this helps.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
