I stopped riding during the pandemic, and now I’d like to get back on the road.

I’m in Williamsburg, VA. The bike was running fine when I parked it.

morton’s in Fredericksburg doesn’t work on the old airheads anymore.

They suggested Gridlock Motors in Warrenton, VA.

Does anyone have any experience with these guys?
Does anyone have any other suggestions, recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

► What's wrong with the bike ?

Storage is always easier (and cheaper) to deal with beforehand in the Preventative mode. After the Fact mode is going to cost you some coin, unless you do it yourself.

• 99% of your issues will stem from ethanol fuel that was left in the tank and carbs.

• Your battery would proabably still be reliable if the Negative terminal was simply removed.

Pop off 2 float bowls and 1 battery cable was all you had to do back then. Now ??

Have you looked in the Airmail for other VA shops ?

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
