I purchased an Ohlin shock from Wuderlich on line site. It does not fit due to the upper barrel of shock being too big to clear frame brace. Has anybody on here had issues. Wunderlich is checking with Ohlin. He said it should fit but it is not even close.

The shock on my 1988 has a much smaller diameter top extension that will allow the 2 "eyes" to lay side-by-side. That's probably how your OEM shock was as well.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
