Has anyone ever lowered the suspension or 1995 R-100-RT? Love the bike, just too tall. 31 inch seat I think. I have a fox shock on at this time.

My wife is 5'3.5" as is my daughter. Wife rides a 1992 R100RT (converted to RS) and my daughter rides a 75 R90S. I have lowered both bikes and other bikes for my wife in the past. Mono shocks require buying a shorter rear shock. Expensive and a CC products upper triple clamp. Which requires a minor modification. The dual shock was cheaper as only the rear shocks needed to be replaced. You posted quite a while ago, but if you are interested in phoning me call. My number is 231 seven 96-6345. If you do call, leave message and I will get back to you. My feeling is the bikes are more comfortable lowering the bike and not cutting down the seat. If you are heavy, 190 and up, you may end up with a harder ride than you want. Dale
