Anyone have a reasonably priced alternative to the stock setuo? My odo has started to randomly add hundreds if not thousands of miles but the trip odometer stopped working. It does this sporadically and won't do it for my guys @ Foreign Speedo!! They are great but too far away during riding season. I just need some way to tell when I should start looking for gas & stay somewhere close to the speed limit.

I've seen bicycle speedometers mounted on a few bikes. The "wireless" units typically won't work due to the bikes electrical interference, but the "wire" units don't have that problem.
I mounted an "Acewell" computer to my sidecar a number of years ago. Still working just fine. The model I purchased was $120.00 when I bought it. I think they are quite a bit higher now.

The Acewell unit has a speedometer (MPH or KPH), bar tachometer, digital tachometer, odometer (Miles or Kilometers), 2 resetable trip odometers, riding time, average speed, neutral light, oil light, turn signal indicators, high beam light. plus other functions....the only missing item is a charging light. I mounted an individual light for charging system, plus I have an LED voltmeter installed. The "reset" / "mode" buttons are large and can be easily operated with riding gloves.

Amazon shows several brands and styles, both Acewell and others.

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

Thank you gentlemen. I've opened Amazon on another tab and will start the search.
