Have you considered doing it yourself ? It's really very, very simple. Doing this work is the best practice you can have to prepare yourself for a road trip of any length.

Actually found a factory trained mechanic and airhead restorer within 10 miles.I do a lot of my own work on my cars and want to know of any concerns he might have. I've rebuilt charging system and added crash bars and other detailing. put 3,000 miles on it over last 2 months locally and would like another set of eyes and ears on it before an all day road trip make me more comfortable too.
