Replaced ecu with Motorrad electrik unit today got spark cranks and runs .
I guess my over zealous charging fried Old ecu .
I want to thank Rick at Motorrad for all of his help

I guess my over zealous charging fried Old ecu .
It's actually a lot more likely that the thermally conductive "heat sink" paste gave up due to age. This paste lies between the under-fuel tank portion of the ECU and its heat sink mounting bracket. When the paste stopped conducting the heat away, the temp went too high inside the unit and burned the sensitive transistors out.
Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.
