I've been rebuilding a 1978 R100RS and now need some help to bring it to life. I live in Bellingham, Washington, within driving distance of the cities of Vancouver, BC and Seattle. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
If you are a member of Airheads Beemer Club (this site), you can access the dAIRectory under the "AirLore" section, and search there for members who are near you.
When I searched Bellingham, WA, I found four members of this group who are listed as being in Bellingham.
They would be your best first line of assistance.
If you aren't yet a member, this is a very good reason to become one.
Additionally, the "other" BMW motorcycle organization (BMWMOA) lists fourteen members in Bellingham. The "MOA" may have fewer Airhead enthusiasts (by percentage) than here, but I'd bet at lease a few of those WA locals in the MOA book are Airhead riders. Probably some are members of both groups, too.
