Finally overhauled my carbs but am having problems reinstalling them: inlet duct does not sit flush on the carb body. Have tried twisting etc to no avail. What's the secret?  Properly installed, they are close to level but with the side closest to the cylinder head a bit lower?  Be kind!

Replying to self. After looking at my photo, I realized that the airbox side sleeve was simply askew. Fixed. Carb side still not aligned, however. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@phil_y switch the black plastic elbows, each side is different
