Sept. 8- 9- 10, 2017 Sequoia Gathering Of The Tribes

It's hard to beat the majestic beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Late in the season the tourists have departed, the local roads and fire trails are free of crowds. Join us the weekend after Labor Day for a Rendezvous. It will be at the Cove Group Camp on HWY 198 in the National Forest between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, about 10 miles south of the North Gate. The campground has pit toilets, lots of trees and plenty of space for tents. There is a store nearby where you can get basic groceries, beer, gas and coin operated heated showers. The days are warm but at 9000ft it can get cold in the evenings. We intend to have a BBQ lunch, beach side on The Kings River, equal distance, for dual sporters and the road riders. Back to camp on the paved roads via a nice refreshment stop. Saturdays dinner is being finalized. Please go to Airheads.org for the most current details.
