I've had my 84 R100CS for about 30 years, but seriously neglected it over the last 20. Anyway, I'm only about 30 miles from Mile 0 on the Alaska Highway and am available for coffee or with my pickup and trailer.
Some from Victoria might get a kick out of this photo with Les Blow who set up my bike ages ago and I happened to meet him at the Port Angeles Ferry shortly after I bought it from the Kawasaki shop in VicWest.
I can’t believe it’s 24 years ago, but I went through your town in ‘97 on my way, with a friend, to Alaska and the Arctic circle. Was a great trip, of course. My bike is a ‘78, also equipped with a Hannigan fairing. Is yours a SuperSport, as well? Don’t think I’ve ever seen another. I lived in Kentucky when I did that trip. Now in Texas. Still riding the ‘78.
