Scam Warning !
While looking for a replacement fork brace for my 1981 R100 I came across this...
The website Lfufro.Com has been identified as a probable scam site. They have pages showing everything from ladies dresses, shoes, car mufflers, automobile drive shafts, and... oddly enough... Airhead fork braces. The give-away is the Contact Us email of Cukter.Com which is based out of China. There is also no address given anywhere on the website. The $50 price on a fork brace that usually costs $180-$200 is also a big clue.

A Google search of Cukter.Com brings up a host of alerts.
Hope this helps.

That brand (Flatracer) does pop up at flatracer.com, with that fork brace 99.99 British pounds? Don’t know if that site looks legit ... you might check it out.

Thanks for the heads up!
Looks like ordering the fork brace from flatracer.com, at today’s exchange rate, would be about $138 plus $58 shipping = $196
I did order my first one from FlatRacer in England. It was about $50 and 4 weeks for shipping.
There is also another site in the USA called Phast by Phillips that sells the same thing, but his price reflects the same shipping.
These are very high quality, with an excellent powder coating paint job. They replace the stamped piece that mounts the front fender and come with a full set of rubber washers, stainless steel screws and acorn nuts for fender mounting. Be sure and order by the correct year because some minor cutaways are in the side plates to accommodate the correct front brake hose layout.

I’m curious - are you replacing the one you bought from flatracer, or some other? Why the replacement? I’m thinking to put one on my wish list for my ‘78 (originally R100RS). Looks like currently $196 with shipping from UK. Thanks
@4949 It got twisted up like a pretzel during my wreck.

I really think the doctor simply had a new screw gun and was looking for a victim to try it out. You know how guys and their new tools can be !!
Although the numbness is receding, 9 months later my shoulder still aches.

Wob,
About 40 years ago I had my right shoulder rebuilt following a rather unorthodox dismount from my R90/6...... almost no ache now but I am fairly accurate at predicting rain.
Did the cutter charge by the pound or the piece (I didn't get to keep my screws and I'm still pissed about that)?
Hope your recovery is a good one!
