We have lost another great source of knowledge as Robert Fieischer "Snowbum" has passed away.  He will be missed.  St.

I had just finally listened to his 2022 interview on the Airhead 247 podcast. Surely an interesting man. His extensive writings have helped me many times. I guess the website belongs to the Vintage BMW club, to be kept alive “forever”.  Robert will be missed!

Very sad. My condolences to the family.

If there's any info you want off his extensive webpage, then you had better get it now. I highly doubt that the family will continue its upkeep when the next bill comes due. 

Owning an old Airhead is easy.
Keeping an old Airhead running great is the true test.

My understanding is he made arrangements with the Vintage Club to keep his data available.  St.

@wobbly Some time ago he arranged for custody of the site to go to the VBMWO. So its immediate future is secure. The clubs' logo is in the upper right corner of the site.
