R75/5 Rocker adjustment max'd out

Hey everyone, I think this might be my first post here. I'm finishing up a mechanical Resto on a 73 R75. Stock other than Siebenrock 1000 cc heads and/6 rocker assemblies. I'll try and attach a photo but the adjustment on the rockers Are pretty maxed out. I think there is enough adjustment, but just a little bit concerning, so thought I'd ask. Is this common? I did throw my original rocker assembly on for comparison and it's the same valve clearance. Thanks Chris

That is not the way the tappet adjusters look on my 1973 R75/5.

Do you mean Siebenrock 1000cc cylinders/pistons (not heads)?
Seems consistent on all 4 valves?
Are there spacers at the cylinder bases that may not belong there? Something is creating too much length in the valve train.
Were the heads redone? I once had a valve seat that was not pressed fully into the head, and the adjuster would barely reach the valve.

You may have a problem mixing parts from the R90/6. A quick look at the microfiche shows different part numbers for rockers for the /5 and /6.
The push rods for the two different models are 607 last three digit units so the push rods for the /5 and /6 are the same.
My understanding of the Siebenrock cylinder upgrade is there are no head modifications needed at all. So it might be best to go back to the /5 rockers and see what you get. Good luck, St.

Curious if you got this figured out. What was the problem?
