Hey Marcus. Yup that was me and I remember your Cafe R. Hope to build a nice classis 70's Cafe along those lines someday. Probably make mine a 1000 stroker though lol. Nice to finally meet some of you guys and at future tech days. Great folks and much thanks for putting on these events.

I don't recall posting a photo of my bike here previously so hope this isn't a repeat.
I trailered a 2003 Honda ST 1300 from Colorado to Minnesota and swapped it even up for this 71 R/75 5. I believe I'm the third owner and it has just over 73,000 miles on the clock.
The story is that it was parked from the mid-80's until recently. It was prepped properly for storage so dealing with the effects of long-term storage hasn't been too bad but I'm also updating to things like an improved diode board and brake shoes and tires and cables and it's had both carbs rebuilt.
I don't plan to change the appearance in any significant way - I love the way it looks and I can't go anywhere without people wanting to ask questions about the bike.

Nice looking machine. Must be a major change of pace going from an ST 1300 to an R/75.

Do you mean because of the Honda's remarkable brakes and blazing acceleration and legendary reliability? Meh.

This is my 94 R100GS that I've owned for a year. Since then if's taken me on a 2,000 plus ride across the Denali Highway and up the Haul Road to Dead Horse. She's a pleasure to ride and one of the true loves of my life.

I use a photo host-Photobucket in my case. There are others, such as Smugmug that are probably better. Then I grab the image link from that on-line photo host and click on the "image llink" icon, paste the link in the blank spot for the url. That seems to work for me.

This is the Palace Hotel in Port Townsend Washington. Supposedly haunted . . . .

This is my 94 R100GS. I've been blessed since August 2015 and it has taken me to Dead Horse, Alaska as part of of a 2,000+ mile journey around my state. It is a wonderful machine and I will be counting on many of you to help me maintain her as she deserves to be.

I have made a few more changes to my "RT" recently.
Removed the backrest, and installed a "six-pack" rack in its place, and took the pannier mounts off, sandblasted the chrome, primed and painted them in satin black to match the rack.

Before:

Today:

Next steps are euro bars, and an "S" style fairing.
