Post a Picture of your Airheads
1978 (originally RS) with Hannigan SS
@4949search on Amazon for windshield extension I think it’s a motoplay
@r2k Beautiful bike! Mine was Candy Apple Red for quite a few years. It got pretty chipped up, then I had a wreck and polished it off. I have loved my Hannigan since it went on in 1983 or so. It has covered many, many miles. I’m sure you love yours, too!
This is a homemade instrument pod I came up with many years ago, since I had the instruments from the original RS fairing.
@8594 cool factor is very high !
Here's my 95 R100RT, picked up about 6 weeks and 3500 miles ago. It had 25,000 on the clock then, and 28,000 now. Doing a bit of catch up maintenance, and mission creep set in. Should be back on the road this week, ready for some serious winter riding. Here in Kentucky's mild climate, I usually ride year round. I am installing an Omega 600 watt system, to power the electric clothing. I like to ride once and toasty.

About 15 years ago I had a 1976 R90/6 with Hannigan fairing that, I believe, was same as yours. At the time, I rode with a 3/4 helmet, so hated the Hannigan. Have been riding with FF helmets now for about the last 3 years, and pretty sure I'd love the Hannigan, with FF helmet combo.
I live near Elizabethtown, and mostly ride within a 100 mile radius from home since Covid, but looking forward to 2021 and back to further jaunts.
Here is my '64 BMW R69S set up for a 350+ mile journey to and from the Chief Blackhawk Swap Meet in Davenport, Iowa. I slept next to the bike at the Fairgrounds Thursday night. Except for a carburetor problem on the way home, the R69S ran great. Yes, I shall retain the patina on the BMW. As long as it (and I) run good, I am happy.
