Hello All,

Looking to add two aftermarket pieces:

Givi universal windscreen, the A34, https://tinyurl.com/4k7jr6a5  or  A31, https://tinyurl.com/tfex88pn. Givi looks to be good quality at a good price.

Fuse blocks. They have several options, the 10 circuit unit should work and looks small enough to mount under the seat. https://tinyurl.com/y9rufn2k

Comments and recommendations greatly appreciated.

Thanks, George

Fuse Blocks

I agree with your choice to go with flat pack fuses, but I think you will find that 10 fuses is far too many and that the proposed fuse package ends up being way too big to conceal comfortably. This, even if you had an RT fairing to conceal it in. Additionally, not all your items that need fusing are in the same location, so if you plan on adding accessories you'll find that fuses need to be spread all over the bike... not concentrated in a single location as the real estate of an automobile affords.

The '86 R80 has it's main electrical section under the tank on the RH side. Stock 8A fuses are in a small black plastic box, under the frame, near the rear LH side of the fuel tank.

I greatly prefer hooded, in-line flat pack fuse holders available at your local auto parts store (LAPS). These can be tucked out of sight, and provide the water protection you'll require on a motorcycle.

Hope this helps.
