This 1992 BMW R100 was acquired in 2015 with very low original miles, purchased to convert to a HPN motorcycle. Frame was assigned HPN # 997 in Germany by WWW.HPN.de
Addition of an 8.5 gal BMW original metal gas tank; 5 speed gearbox overhauled with the C clip included Euro model purchased in Germany with kickstarter. Two-into-one exhaust Y system by Keihan. Original Valeo starter was replaced by the more bulletproof Bosch, solid mounts / diode board and voltage regulator also replaced. New positive wire and negative also relocated; Odyssey PC680 Battery. Frame was powder-coated in red by HPN in Germany after the reinforcement / modifications. Red solo-up seat, a rear luggage rack, chromed engine guards, side case mounts, and both center and side stands, reflectors, and turn signals. Wire-spoke tubeless wheels feature 19″ front Behr, and 17″ rear Akront alloy rims.
Asking price does not really reflect the real cost / value of building this motorcycle. Let alone what it takes to get one in the USA.
