This event is held Rain or Shine!

This is simply a four-day get-together to celebrate living the lives we do and
fellowshipping with others who share overlapping interests.
Those interests include air-cooled BMW motorbikes. However, the event is
open to riders of other marques. Children are welcome but are your
responsibility. A few small dogs have been ‘grandfathered’ in. We own dogs
and some livestock, so any other canines need prior approval, please.
About tech … a bench or two and tools can be made available, but we need
someone to volunteer to oversee proceedings. We, your hosts, are stretched too
thin to be involved. So … tech can be a possibility, if someone cares to help.
We shall try to organize evening presentations. If you are interested, we’ll
consider your offers. Presently, we have Greg and Melanie Turp on the roster.
They have travelled extensively in Africa, Asia, South America and elsewhere.
There are a couple of trials machines here for use by the sober, non-litigant
types amongst us. On that note … entering our portals is a statement that you
accept total responsibility for your personal safety and well-being.
This is a nice area to ride in with a sufficient amount of dirt roads.
Generally, some form of ride-out gets organized.
Some beds and floor spaces are available but most folk bring a tent.
This is your event. We simply host it. Emy asks for you to ring or email
ahead of time to register your intent. She’s the cook, so please help her out with
this courtesy.
