Platte Valley Fall Tech Day
May 5th 6th & 7th, 2023
The 16th bi-annual “Platte Valley Tech Day” is just a few months away. If you want to participate in a great
and informative tech event, make sure you join us in rural Edgerton, MO on May 6th, 2023. You won’t regret
the great time you’ll have. If you want to learn how to work on your bike, then don’t miss out on this bi-annual
event.

You can count on great advice and assistance. No questions go unanswered and, if time, we’ll do our best to
make sure your project gets completed. If you’re knowledgeable about a particular repair, feel free to offer to
assist. Some people like to do the work themselves and have someone stand by to answer questions and give
advice if asked. Harmony always makes for a good end to the weekend. We always have great food and a
wonderful social time from start to finish.

So, be sure to mark your calendar come rain or shine for May 6th, 2023. There are about 2+ acres of
camping area so feel free to arrive on Friday and stay through Sunday (just let me know by April 28th,
what day you plan to arrive). Several stay the entire weekend so just know you’re welcome. I have a large
shop, tools, and a lift. Any special tools can be obtained as long as you let me know well beforehand, what
project you need to work on.

We have two Tech Days per year. One in Fall and one in the Spring. These Tech Days continue to grow each
year with more than fifty heads checking in at our last event.
We have a request; It takes a lot of time and effort to put a successful tech day together. Jan enjoys these
tech days as much as you and I do and she devotes a lot of her time to planning, cooking and preparing meals
and any other preparations needed. So, as we asked before, please let us know if you’ll be attending, and as
mentioned, what day you plan to arrive and if you will be there for any and which meals. I always want to
make sure we have enough food. We ran out of food at the last tech day. Courtesy counts so please
communicate. Let us know if you have any special dietary needs. We’ll do our best to accommodate.
Out of respect for my wife, I have promised her that we would not invade her personal space such as her
upstairs bathroom. So out of respect for her there will not be a shower available. There is a restroom available
just inside the house from the shop door.

One of our main goals is for everyone to have a great time. Having said that, alcohol is permitted, (not
supplied by me) but respectable behavior is expected. Other stimulants etc. are prohibited. I would hate to ask
someone to leave.
