Topics I have been thinking of –

*Bing Deeper Dive – we did a Carb tech day, but I learned this year that needles can need replacement even if a total rebuild is not needed.  My /5 was running beautifully, but not getting the mileage I would have expected.  Then riding with a friend, I was told I was putting out some black smoke on acceleration so it was likely running rich..  By the time of this tech day, I will have a few tanks and a few hundred miles to compare the difference and report out with the new leaner needles.

*Old Favorite – Spline Lube??  big project, but I have one I could stage in advance..

*Timing Chain Inspection and replacement?

*Long distance trip bike check – What would you do if you were setting out for a 20k trip to South America and back?
– reference the book “Two Wheels South” and see what they did and what in the end the encountered
