June 4, 2002 (NY) CNY Tech Day
Central New York Airheads are hosting a tech day at 101 Verplanck St., Geneva, NY 14456. There will be plenty of garage space (2 ½ car garage) with lift, compressor, fairly complete set of tools. Bring any special tools for any particular job you might be doing. Bring any parts you will need or have them sent here at address below. Bring any bike related fluids you might need, or they can be obtained close nearby. Plenty of parking space. Anyone who would like to camp (either Friday, show up around 6:00PM and/or Saturday evening) there is a large grassy lawn. If you prefer a soft bed there are many hotels in the area. There will be coffee, etc. in the morning and a lunch. We’ll get started at 9:00AM and go until we get things done.
Directions:
From the South; St. Rt. 14, 35 miles north of Watkins Glen. Turn left onto Jay Street. Right onto Poultney St., Left onto Verplanck St. Last house on left (top of hill, dead end).
From the East or West; US Rt. 20/5 into Geneva, Turn at TRAFFIC LIGHT onto Poultney St., (entrance for Hobart and William Smith College). Then over 5 speed bumps, 1st right turn after St. Clair St. (STOP sign) onto Verplanck St., top of the hill.
OR if using I-90; exit 42 St. Rt.14 south (6 miles) into city of Geneva. Follow signs for RT14 South through the city, to St. Clair St. Left at STOP sign, right onto Verplanck St. Top of hill.
Hope to have BMW rondels at intersections.
